Question by Blessed Twin Momma: How much weight did you gain with your twin pregnancy?
Hey mothers of twins. ..just curious how much gained with your pregnancy and how long did it take to loose it afterward...I am 28 weeks pregnant with twins and I have gained 32 pounds so far. I started at 113 now I am 145ish...Just curious if this gain is good or not!

Question by L B: When did your doctor advise you about your twin pregnancy?
I am 7 weeks pregnant with twins. I have had two ultrasounds and scheduled for a third one next week. Other than telling me what is going on in the ultrasound, my ob/gyn has not discussed or advised me on nutrition, care, risks and what to avoid during pregnancy. Is that normal? Did your doctor talk to you about all this in the first appointment or did he wait until he was satisfied with the progress of the developing fetus? Thanks!

I am 23 weeks with twins, I found out on my first appointment with my obstetrician at 10 weeks and she didn't really talk to me about nutrition etc. She just told me that I definitely needed to be on a pregnancy multivitamin to ensure I get enough of vitamins and minerals for the bubs.
Other than that, she didn't seem to think there was that much more of a risk with the pregnancy other than the early onset of labour which we talked about at the next visit.

I am currently 32 weeks 1 day with Identical twin boys. This is my very first pregnancy, and so far my cervix is closed and everything has been going fine. I really want to go to 38 weeks, so that the boys could possibly be healthy enough to come home with me when I go. my question is more/less to get encouragement from mothers who have made it that far, How did your babies turn out (did they have any complications)?

when i had my twins i was in labor for about 5 hours not to bad i was 34 weeks when i had my twins and they were fine my babies were fine they both weighed 5lbs and 2 oz great weight for twins and i got to take them home with me when i left just try not to stress your self out and have fun with the baby's b.c they are great i have a boy and girl my babies did not have any complications trust me you will do fine my twins are 5 months old and they are doing great good luck and god bless they are so much fun
