Question by princess m: I am having a problem getting pregnant? Any tips? I?
I am 21 years old, my husband is 33. We have been together for over 2 years. I have not been on birth control since the first 2 or 3 months since we have been together. I try to pinpoint my day of ovulation, but nothing has happened yet. Should we be tested? I really want to have a child. He wants to have one also.
Am I getting worried over nothing? Poeple have told me it will happen when it is meant to happen, but I dont want to get pregnant when he is too much older.

Most doctors recommend trying naturally for 1 year. After that time, you are sent to a reproductive specialist. It took me 9 months to get pg with my first. Good luck!

Get tested to see who has the problem with the eggs or the sperm.
Congrats on being married before having children. You did it the right way. Now see a physician. Worrying will not help you to get pregnant. I’m sure your physician will have better advice then we folks here at Yahoo.
Good luck to you..
if u stress urself out about it u will never get pregnant…keep ur mind on enjoying the time with ur husband and it will happen..I promise
Don’t listen to that “it will happen when its meant to happen” crap. Like the other person said, give it a year then see a specialist.
It will take longer then that for you to be worried. sometimes it takes couples years of trying before they conceive without fertility treatment. use ovulation tests to pinpoint your ovulation and have intercourse every other day for at least a week around your ovulation time. if this doesn’t work in 6 mos, talk to your doctor.
well i also had a hard time-and it will happen when it will happen-i would lay with my legs in the air after sex-hanging from the bed-once you get up its bye-bye baby-try it
It would not hurt to get a doctor’s opinion. Also use http://www.fertiltiyfriend.com to help track ovulation. I suggest also buying some ovulation prediction kits, monitoring your cevical mucus, and elevating hips after sex. For more info check into http://www.babycenter.com and http://www.in-gender.com.
It took me 1 1/2 yrs to get pregnant with my 1st child, 3 years to get pregnant with my 2nd child, and 7 months to get pregnant with my 3rd.
Try using an ovulation predicator kit available in any chemist, they re really good at pinpointing your fertile days visit the org.pregnancy.com site tells u all the best kits to buy,and gives loads of information on trying to concieve
Good Luck.
you 2 may need to see a reproductive specialist. does he have any children? be sure to get checked out tho cuz you dont wanna end up like me. my b/f and i have been together for a very long time, 10yrs. i tried to get pregnant, and when i finally did, i was pregnant in my tubes….i didn’t know anything about being pregnant in my tubes or what caused it, but it happened twice. the only way we can have children naturally is through in vitro fertilization. i cannot stress enough to women to get checked out first before doing anything else. i wish i had someone to tell me that when i was trying to get pregnant cause the dr could have found the problem with my tubes and fixed them. good luck
There are over the counter ovulation kits that can detect your best two days to conceive…
Most fetility doctors will not even take a second glance at you unless you’ve been trying for at least a year. I’d go with the flow… get the ovulation kit to detect when you are ovulating and try for a few more months.
If pregnancy does not occur call the fertility doctor and get an appointment. He will check your husbands sperm and your hormones, etc.
Good Luck!
you should try doin the baby dance every other day after your cycle that’s how we conceived my son he going to be 4 in Aug…. good luck
I can assure you that your not the only one in this situation, im trying to get pregnant myself I come off the mini pill 6 months ago and still no luck. I have come to realise that stressing about it wont make me get pregnant any quicker. You just need to relax and have fun with it and you might just get lucky. You should try naturally for a year but if you have still not concived after a year you and you husband should make and apointment with the doctor. He/she will be able to run some tests to pinpoint the problem. But just relax fro now it will happen in its own time. All i can say is good luck and i hope you get what you want.
Try having sex on these days: Count the first day of your period as Day 1.
Try on 10th day, 12th day, 14th day, 16th day.
I tried it and got pregnant soon.
