Question by Christina C: How good are the odds of getting pregnant from having unprotected sex on the sugar pill days of the pill pack?
Well I'm good at taking them for the most part except for last week was really bad I think I missed it almost everyday for 3 days. Period is supposed to be tomorrow so I guess we'll see

Not much if you took the rest properly.
If you’ve been taking your pills ON TIME AND ON SCHEDULE then the odds are looooow. Pills are 99.9% effective. Even on the sugar pills.
If you’ve been spotty on taking them at the same time every day or have missed pills your risks go up. Your risks go up a great deal. So be absolutely, ultra sure that you’re taking them at the same time every single day.
very low if you’ve been taking them correctly. otherwise they would tell you not to have sex during that time.

The sugar pills are only there as a reminder to keep taking your pill. If you took none of them it would not make a difference on the effectiveness of the pill itself. I never took them a day in my life and I was on pill for 10 years with no pregnancy.
