Adiva- Hope Is Right Here
26 year old Meghna came to Adiva with a packet filled with reports proclaiming her infertile. It was her very supportive husband who mostly explained the problem as Meghna broke into tears at the very mention of baby. It was hard to believe that Meghna was once a very vibrant girl. All she could say to the doctor was ‘why me?’.
Reports showed her husband’s semen analysis was normal. She was diagnosed to have bilateral hydrosalpinx on hsg. Pelvic ultrasound revealed bilateral polycystic ovaries. Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy was carried out at Adiva which revealed that uterus tubes and omentum were adherent to each other. Since both ovaries seemed normal with right side hydrosalpinx, right salpingectomy was done.
With the doctor like an angel on her side, Meghna had developed full faith in Adiva. She knew positive result will surely follow. After 3 months of laparoscopy, IVF was planned but Meghna didn’t conceive. What would have otherwise led to heart break, she immediately asked to plan the next cycle. She knew the good news was not very far.
And it certainly happened. Meghna conceived in the 2nd IVF cycle in may’ 09. She is pregnant with triplets of16 weeks. Giggling away, Meghna visits Adiva every fortnight for her check up. It is hard to believe that this is the same Meghna who once came to Adiva with tears in her eyes.
